BNSF Tennessee Yard
Tennessee Yard opened for business on June 24, 2007. Constructed by the Frisco Railway, it replaced Yale Yard which is located on Airways Boulevard south of Lamar Avenue. As built, it covered over 300 acres with a fifty track classification yard with a capacity of 2140 cars, and an eight track combination arrival/departure yard with a capacity of 1280 cars. The green stick pin indicates the location on Old Lamar Avenue that affords a good view of the ramp. The Fueling Station is private property. Stay on the road and your in good shape!
